Meet the Author
Crystal J. Weaver is the creator and author of the exciting new series, "The Adventures of Rufus and Rita." Originally from Michigan, a few of her many passions are faith, learning, animals, and playing sports. These passions pushed her to excel in the classroom and on the basketball court.

Ultimately, pursuing her passion enabled her to earn a full-ride scholarship to Marquette University where she earned an education degree. She later went on to earn a Master's degree from Western Michigan University. As a mentor and trainer, she inspires people to keep the faith and be the best they can be.

“As a child growing up, I always had a pet. Some of my best memories and hardest lessons involved experiences with my pets. They provide both companionship and responsibility.

With this series, I hope to share those experiences with young readers and pet lovers alike.”
